MEET THE PRODUCER: THE BUTTER FACTORY fork

Myrtleford Cultured Butter is made using the finest cream from upstanding citizens from Victoria’s High Country cow community. We lightly salt our butter using Lake Dimboola pink salt from Mt Zero, the salt is textured to give our butter a slight crunch that you see in European butters.

Our Buttermilk is unique, we are the only manufacturer of real pure buttermilk, it’s the liquid left over from churning, not a cultured skim milk that large companies make. It has so many uses from marinating meat to tenderise and making a beautiful salad dressing. Baking is the obvious choice with pancakes being on top of the list. Check out our website for more recipes and ideas www.thebutterfactory.com.au

We are able to supply bulk butter in 2.5 kg blocks please email for price and to place an order info@thebutterfactory.com.au

MEET THE PRODUCER : SHUKI & LOUISA fork

InAction_Cirlces_ShukiLouisa-01Shuki and Louisa are two friends who love Middle Eastern food. Shuki grew up in Israel with an Iraqi Mum who fed him loads of good, home cooked Middle Eastern food and Louisa grew up on a farm in the Mallee, where her family still grow hundreds of tonnes of grains and pulses.

Early in 2013, they decided to combine their backgrounds to create a range of Middle Eastern specialities based on Shuki’s Mum’s recipes and using Louisa’s Dad’s pulses and grains.

The results include creamy hummus, smoky babaganoush, fiery chilli sauce, unbeatable take home felalfe mix and selected other Middle Eastern classics. Our entire range is gluten free, vegan and contains no preservatives.

MEET THE PRODUCER : KINGFISHER BRANDfork

Kingfisher Brand is a third generation horticultural citrus property owned and operated by Lex and Glenda Fisher along with their family.

Kingfisher Brand produce is dependent on the season and includes: freshly squeezed orange juice (on site), icy poles, freshly picked oranges, mandarins, lemons, grapefruit, avocados, pumpkins, garlic, and onions.

Their fruit is not sprayed with any pesticides and their orchard operates with sustainable organic practices. With recent limited water allocations and the need to remove 30% of their trees, selling at Farmers’ Markets has become a significant part of their marketing strategy.
